Yoga for Teens 

Join Judy O’Leary Thapa, certified yoga therapist and teacher for an introductory yoga class where students will learn poses that build strength as well as release muscular tension. Students will experience breathing techniques and guided meditation as wellness tools to reduce stress and encourage a sense of equanimity. There will be a short reflection time at the end of class for students to journal/draw about their experience and create their own action steps in order to bridge awareness they may have gained into their daily life.

* Class will begin in September with registration through Hopkinton Parks and Rec.

Intentional Yoga Workshop for Teens and Parents/Guardians

This is an introductory yoga workshop where you will learn poses that build strength as well as release muscular tension. Each class begins with a guided meditation where you will have time to reflect on your daily life and set an intention for what you would like to receive from your practice. You will experience breathing techniques and reflection prompts as wellness tools to increase awareness, reduce stress, and encourage a sense of equanimity. A short guided reflection allows space for creating manageable action steps to bridge awareness you may have gained into your daily life.

This is an online workshop series beginning this fall with registration through varunayoga.com.
